The BBC needs to come up with 5 marshals for Sunday's Qualifiers. Without volunteers the race will be in jeopardy. This will count towards one of your required marshalling duties. So, please step up if you can. Contact Larry Reade, Adam Trost or Peter Cummings to sign up or use the online sign up.Maps of courses have been uploaded....

There is still time to register for this weekends Criterium/RR in Syracuse. Saturday's criterium begins at 8:30am with the womens 4 race and goes all day. On Sunday is the road race with the first field starting at 10:30am. Register on BikeReg, you have until Thursday May 20. With beautiful weather conditions, it was a perfect day for our second Team Series race of the year. The Tom's Pro Bike RR in Langford had a tremendous turn out with over 80 racers competing on the day. We saw some familiar faces winning on the day, with weekly favorite Jay Joslyn (Shickluna) winning the Cat.1,2,3 for the second straight week over teammate and newly upgraded, Jose Alvergue. Rounding out the Top Three was Lance Johnson (Handlebars). In the Cat. 4 race, there were relentless attacks from the Ingram Micro/ Toms Pro Bike team. Most notably, Tony Hoffman. I...

Saturday's race in Bristol saw tough racing conditions including a brutal wind to contend with. BBC members were in contention in many of the races on the day. Lance Johnson (Handlebars) took 4th in the Cat. 3 race, Craig Polston (Pearl Street) finished 8th in the Cat. 4's, Andrew Dumpleton also of Pearl Street, took 9th in the Cat. 5 under 30. In the Cat. 5 over 30, Brandon Stringham (Managed Care) won the race and Tri-Spot's Stephen Hoadley took third. Also, in the Masters 55+ race, Steve Forrestel (Managed Care) took the victory. On May 30th the BBC will host the Western ESG Team qualifier. We have volunteers to drive race support but still need 5 volunteers to marshal corners. All athletes that want to try to qualify at the Empire State Games Western Region Qualifiers MUST REGISTER ONLINE. There is absolutely no way to register day-of. ONLINE Registration will CLOSE midnight May 28th. The Qualifers will be held in Boston, NY on the morning of May 30th. We will use the usual format of a Time Trial, and immediately following, a Road Race. The Top 10 men and Top 3 women determined from a points system totaled from both races will qualify to represent the region in the ESG held here in Buffalo in July.More details will be posted soon.
