Mike Bridges, Shickluna, takes his second win this week. Mike was out in front of a good group tonight at the Cobblestone Criterium Twilight race. The race broke up early under the pressure of Mike and Ken Thomas, Wells Fargo Advisors. After a few laps the chase group, or what was left of it, managed to bring them back. This group was wittled down as riders were getting popped off the back. With two laps to go the field exploded as Mike opened up a huge gap to take the win. Jason Skalski, Handlebars, finished second and Ryan Nye, MVP, finished third... In the B race a select group managed to get clear after the first preem. This group was never seen again. Jose Alvergue, Managed Care Network, looked to be the stongest in the group taking first or second in all the preems. Steve Wells, Ingram Micro/EMS quietly rode a smart race, only sticking his nose out for one preem. In the end Steve nipped Jose at the line for the win. Craig Polston, The Bike Shop, took third.
