Results from this past Sundays Giro are as follows: The fields were combined and this may be the way to do it. These are training rides with a race finish. The race was active with Jeff Yurko very aggressive in attacking and riding hard. We regrouped a couple times, but Jeff finally got back up the road and the race was on. Andy Cummings was very strong, but flated during the race. We slowed down at the crossing by RT 63 and thought he would catch, but never bridged back. Good thing because he is really strong this year. Lance Johnson made contact with Jeff just prior to the finish line, and the 2 of them finished just in front of the chase group, which had only 4 or 5 riders because the pace was pretty hard , and there were many different levels of fitness. Plus, a small group and some hills make it tuff after 45 miles. by Frank Mesi
