Due to the cancellation of last weekends race in Alabama, this Sunday's race in Corfu will be a Team Race. This means it will count for individual points as well as qualify for team series points if you have a team participating in the team series. There is still time to sign up for the team series. Several BBC members traveled east to race in the crisp cool spring air at Bloomfield, NY this past Sunday, and showed some good results.In the Cat.1/2/3 race, Ryan Nye (MVP Healthcare) continued his podium ways with a 3rd place finish, while new Cat. 3 racer Lance Johnson (Handlebars) finished a respectable 8th, and Joe Cooke (French Meadow Bakery/Fortistar) came in 14th.In the Cat. 4 race, Vince Lorenz (Pearl Street Grill & Brewery) also took a 3rd place podium spot, edging out friendly rival Jose Felipe Alvergue (Shickluna), who had to settle for 4th.Finally...

This past weekend, we had a great showing at one of the toughest one-day races on the calendar, Tour of the Battenkill. Brandon Stringham (Managed Care Network) took 1st place in the Cat. 5/35+ race, and Shawn O'neil (Ellicottville Bike Shop) also took a 1st place in the Cat.5/ 45+ race.
